Active Food Systems Ltd is a small and growing company based in the charming village Offord Cluny right by the river. We manufacture the Synergy Grill – an innovative, award winning chargrill. We’re looking for an engineer to help build grills in our factory.

Desired
This is predominantly a factory based position, however, you will also need to carry out service visits. This involves driving the Synergy Grill van to various locations and carrying out maintenance work.
You need to take a real pride in your work as this product is a Class A piece of kitchen equipment and needs to leave our factory in the best possible quality.
In return we offer a competitive starting salary depending on experience and for the right candidate the ability to progress and grow within our expanding business. Full training will be given.
Company culture
Our little business has just started to really take off and it’s exciting to be part of a growing company. We have recently sold grills to Tom Aikens, Gourmet Burger Kitchen and Bill’s restaurants, won the top award at the Commercial Kitchen Show and have been getting lots of coverage in the press.
This is a business with a family feel. Eight of us work at Synergy HQ and we do like to have fun whilst we work. The kettle and the radio are always on and we often have chefs testing out the grill in our demo kitchen – that means we get fed burgers, ribs & steak. We also regularly pop to the local butchers and cook lunch for each other on the grill. Working in the food industry has some definite perks!
