Tom’s Kitchen choose Synergy Grill

Tom Aikens, one of the UK’s most acclaimed and inspirational British chefs, is one of our newest customers opting for a Synergy Grill model SG900.

His remarkable career has taken him to David Cavalier’s in Battersea, Pierre Koffman’s La Tante Claire, Pied-à-Terre and Joel Robuchon in Paris to name a few. At 26, Tom became the youngest British chef ever to be awarded two Michelin stars.

The ethos of Tom’s Kitchen is simple: use the very best seasonal and locally sourced ingredients wherever possible. The restaurants work with British suppliers (like us!) and farmers that are as passionate about growing as the chefs are about cooking.

Here’s what Tom Aikens had to say about our grills: “Synergy Grills are the most fuel efficient & robust grills you can get. Easy to clean & operate but most importantly will give you the highest amount of heat you will need to cook anything on.” – Tom Aikens, Tom’s Kitchen

We team up with Trenchmore Farm in Sussex

We’ve recently teamed up with Trenchmore Farm, our favourite producers of Wagyu beef. We believe our unique grills are best partnered with the finest, local produce. We naturally bring out the best in each other so what could be better than partnering up with our favourite Wagyu beef provider.

Here’s a little bit about Trenchmore…

We raise grass-fed Sussex Wagyu and Sussex Angus cross cattle – they also enjoy brewer’s grains from our local breweries and apple pomace from our cider pressing, farmed the traditional way to produce marbled, succulent, delicious, slow grown 28 day dry aged beef. In our orchard we have about 1500 traditional cider apple trees from which we make Silly Moo Cowfold cider. Although we occasionally have some competition for the apples… We are delighted to have been shortlisted for the Food Made Good Supplier of the Year Award 2016.

If you’d like to know more about their beautiful beef, please call Joanne on 07711 698 279 or email farm@trenchmore.co.uk
