Synergy Win Special Judges Award at FoodTalk Awards

Synergy Grill scoops special Judges award at The FoodTalk Innovation Awards 20017!

The FoodTalk Awards 2017, held on the first day of London Tech Week at OXO2 on the South Bank was a celebration of food tech and the amazing businesses who are facilitating the sector’s innovation and growth in the UK. Hosted by The FoodTalk Show, a weekly radio show and podcast that focuses on innovation in the UK food and drink industry – the awards aim to celebrate the dreamers and disruptors who are shaping our gastronomic future. With categories including packaging and kitchen tech, the spotlight fell on those products and businesses that are changing the way we eat, cook and live forever.

Synergy Grill – Impossible to Categorise - Special Judges Award

Sue Nelson, Judge, Founder and Co-presenter of The FoodTalk Show - This special award was created after we realised that this company were simply too fabulous not to win something. They have quietly developed a product that has the potential to literally change the whole concept of barbecuing and grilling food in terms of commercial and eventually domestic kitchens.

Justin Cadbury (AFS) Chairman Synergy Grill - We have been fortunate enough to win several awards for Innovation and Energy Efficiency, but this “Judges Award” from The FoodTalk Awards is extra special and demonstrates recognition of the superior levels of food taste and texture from the Synergy Grill from the people who are experts in the industry. The retention of moisture and succulence from the Synergy grill due to the natural oils being vaporised back through the different foods makes a huge difference to those who care about food quality. No fat tray to clean helps the environment as well. British technology really is leading the way.
