Laying the foundations

We were proud to spearhead environmental responsibility within the foodservice industry, initially establishing our presence at Greenewable Business Park—a site designed to attract environmentally conscious businesses committed to eliminating CO2 emissions and boasting other robust environmental credentials.

Our initial products, developed using our award-winning proprietary technology, were gas-powered grills that reduced fuel usage by 59% compared to competitors. Gas was chosen because, at launch, it stood out as the most user-friendly option compared to other hydrocarbon sources of fuel.

Independant Oversight

Since its inception in November 2010, the Footprint Awards have become the barometer for sustainability and responsible business practices in the foodservice, hospitality, and out-of-home sectors. As a business, we have entered these awards in various categories every year since 2019.

Evolving our offering

The burning of gas remains a significant source of CO2 emissions, making it an unsustainable long-term solution for reducing the carbon footprint of the industry. This, combined with the increased use of renewable sources to generate electricity, has allowed us to add electric grills to our range. As the UK government develops a strategy to replace gas with hydrogen as an alternative clean fuel source, our current gas grills can be converted at minimal cost.

Today and tomorrow

As a business, we are committed to developing strategies that will completely eliminate the use of gas in all of our products and manufacturing processes by 2040.
